Floor Plans 110313-A: The Charlotte and The Orleans!

Friends,

The Charlotte and The Orleans were offered to be constructed on our clients lots and/or Land between July 15th 2001 and August 2005 by our "team" at Classic Southern Homes, LLC.

The Charlotte was in the "original" brochure but the Orleans was named for a client that brought in a version in July 2001.

I offered both floor-plans to be built as the "standard" package or the "custom" package.

The Charlotte if my memory serves me correct was constructed for "four" clients.

The Charlotte was the first home I constructed as a builder and the Orleans was the second home I constructed as a builder- in fact I was standing on the foundation pad for the "Orleans" the day our nation was "attacked" on September 11, 2001!

I never will forget hearing the attack being broadcast over the radio that I had left on in my 97 Yukon while I walked over to inspect the foundation pad Mr. William Walley of Fairhope had just completed for me.

The Orleans was constructed for "two" clients.

I hope you like the floor plans.

Floor Plans 102313-A: The Perdido and The Savannah!

Friends,
The "team" at Classic Southern Homes, LLC offered The Perdido and The Savannah to be constructed on your lot within 100 miles of Mobile, Alabama from July 15, 2001 until 2005.
The plans were offered to be constructed in one of two packages of Ammenities and Features.
The "Custom" Package or the "Standard" Package with "Custom" changes made during the planning stages by the Sales/Pre-Construction Co-Ordinator and Mickey Stewart Planning Service Prior to the Mortgage being applied for or for that matter a "Contract" having been signed between my Company and the Client.
All I asked my "team" to collect was a deposit on the "blue prints" with deposit being based on the "work-sheet" that detailed to me what changes to the floor plan were to made and what ammenities were to be added to the "Package"!
Once we finalized those changes and a contract price was finalized I would instruct my Sales/Pre-Construction Co-Ordinator to ask the Client to sign a contract so that the mortgage could be applied for with the Mortgage Company of their choice.
Changes after the contract were signed required an amendment to the contract and changes to the "blue prints". The amendment and if neccessary the new blue prints were then sent to the mortgage company for approval.
This was only possible if the new contract did not exceed the pre-approval mortgage amount most clients had already received from the mortgage company.
Classic Southern Homes, LLC built a total of:
2- Perdido projects and
8- Savannah projects during this period of time.
I am personally fond of The Perdido.
I hope you enjoyed the post and found something of value in reading not to mention I hope you like one or both of the floor plans.

Floor Plans 101713-A: The Nathez and Richmond!

Friends,
As shown in the Classic Southern Homes, LLC brochure in 2005!
The Nathez.
The Richmond.
Both Floor Plans were offered both in the "Custom Package" and the "Standard" package of ammenities and features.
My team at Classic Southern Homes, LLC had the good fortune of building two Richmond Projects.
One Richmond was built in West Mobile and the other was built on piling on a Canal lot near Weeks Bay off County Road 27.
I want to personally thank the two families that allowed my Company to build those two homes for them.
Unfortunately our team never had the opportunity to build a Nathez.

Dukes Homes may be able to build this plan for you as it was arranged for me by Mickey Stewart Planning Service in Mobile.

Note the "Study" which with it's location near the Master Bedroom and Foyer is "ideal" as an "office" or "Nusery".

There were many ammenities offered in our "Custom Package" for this Home.

This home was constructed as the "custom" package with the floor plan being of the "standard" original floor plan.

I had included this plan on the advice of Amy who at the time was employed at Micky Stewart planning Service.

This floor plan would eventually be re-designed as the Meridian and become our number one seller.

Journal Entry 092613-A: A Custom Home from a Clients Sketch!

Friends,
The home-owner walked in my door with a drawing on a sheet of paper of how they wanted their floor plan and exterior of this beautiful home to look when construction was complete.
As you can see from the photo it turned out beautifully as they wished.
I'll try to put some of the floor plans and finished pictures on line if I live long enough. Lol!

Journal Entry 092513-A: The Meridian

Friends,

The First "Meridian" that was originally based on the floor plan of the "Savannah".

I'm not gonna post the owners names on these posts in the future out of respect for their privacy.

However the home-owners and I made a few changes to the Savannah most of all we moved the garage from the front of the home to the right-end.

The Meridian would eventually become Classic Southern Homes, LLC's #1 seller and be constructed in the spring of 2003 as my "Model" home in Daphne, Alabama.

I beleive this project to have been my 4th Home constructed 101 miles from Daphne.

The point was I was trying to think back to when I had some energy and wasn't in pain but I'll live but sure enjoyed trying to run that equipment and company for my dad.

I still have "Battleship Marine" and I want to keep it open but please bare with me cause I aint what I used to be or I would feel more confident in myself even if I am stupid.

Journal Entry 050813-B: The man that saved my daddy's life.

Friend's,

Pictured above is the man that refused to let anyone force my father to lay down in the mud after an accident on a cold rainy afternoon in 1985.

I believe it was December 12, 1985.

Walter I wish I knew your last name but I called you Walter Lewis so much I can't remember your last name but where-ever you are "I sure appreciate you being there that day. You'll never know how much. God Bless you Walter."

Friend's,

I thought I would post these pictures for a friend of mine.

My ex-wife and I were in the Chinese Restaurant on highway 98 in Tillman's Corner, Alabama when we looked outside and the snow started to fall.

Brian is the only man I ever called on a snowy day and asked if he would go to work moving a dump truck and trailer with a front-end loader in which the trailer had an oily, slippery all steel deck and he said "Hell Yes"!

God Bless you Brian Bolton. Man were those the days when it actually snowed in Mobile, Alabama and we went to work!

I hope putting that dad-gum transmission in the old van by hand hasn't hurt you as bad as it has me! I remember us laying there with the dad-gum thing on our chest saying something like- Dad-gum I think we can pick it up and it will go on in if everything stays lined up. LOL! Yeah. That's what we said.

Man I don't think I could have put that ring sleeve in that FWD at soft-ball city without you. I never will forget having the nut on the breather fall down into the carb on that job and having to repair that truck in the parking lot.

I never will forget that job in Huntsville, Alabama. Man there wasn't supposed to be any water in the ground there but maybe the soil report was done in August for God sakes. By October it was sleeting and gushing water in the bottom of those holes at the Blue Cross building.

You came out of the ground purple and shaking not to mention wet and I sure as hell appreciate what we had to do to get that job done. I wish my Dad had let us go to Hershey, Pennsylvania in January and put Caisson's in a area filled with broken up concrete. LOL!!! The job was only in January.

He had been to Charleston, West Virginia and got a hernia with old Ruben Johnson in the cold so I guess Hershey wasn't such a good idea for me to consider.

We fixed it and finished that dad-gum job dog-gonnit!

Those were the day's now I'm telling yall.

Your dad stopped by the store last year and I sure enjoyed talking with him.

I hope you and your family are doing well my friend.

God Bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!
